About The Product

The Discs.
First established in 1955, the product offers the invisible answer to unsightly plate wires, with no clips or hooks. The Disc Plate Hanger bonds to the back of the plate and holds it flat and secure against the wall without the disc being visible. The disc gives a semi-permanent adhesion of great strength to a glazed or unglazed surface with a fixing that will not deteriorate with time. It can be removed at any time by soaking in water. It is unaffected by any household variations in temperature but very high humidity (such as near a shower) should be avoided. The Discs are suitable for all sizes of plates and plaques and are available in 5 sizes from 30mm ( 1 1/4″) to 140mm (5 1/2″).

Hanging on for 65 years...
The disc on the left shows the original manufacturer and if you look carefully, you can see that it was produced in February 1961. This plate was still hanging in a house in New Zealand, when we tracked it down and bought it for the Disc Plate Hanger Company. Its high peel strength and flexible structure makes it ideal for hanging 3D objects which wire plate hangers cannot hold.
